CASTING NOTICE
Seeking actors for the following roles in several short plays and monologues, to be staged March 16-18, 2010 at a theater in the east village, NYC:
ROGER: late twenties, eloquent, usually meek but with leading-man potential
JOHN: late thirties to mid forties; bookish, very observant, ambitious but frustrated
WAITER: thirties, very handsome, polished but dangerous
LILA: late twenties to early thirties; married to Tom; sharp-witted and attractive
TOM: late twenties to early thirties; married to Lila; sharp-witted and attractive
SUSAN: late twenties to early thirties; single; vivacious and provocative
FATHER: forties; serious, devoted to his son, but more so to his job as a prosecutor
DEVON: teenage boy (could be played by an older actor), generally placid but with a dark undercurrent; torn between allegiance to family and to peers
